Required Civil Engineers, Qatar for 6 month duration.
Civil Engineers with Experience in Civil, Steel Structural construction of Mega Mall projects , Rail Projects etc can apply
Minimum 10 Yrs of Experience required..
Major activities like:
Check the necessary technical compliance
Review and endorse all Shop Drawings
Review and endorse testing and commissioning plan and ITP plan
Review and endorse Material Submittals
Review and endorse Method Statements
Inspect and endorse the materials on site
Review and endorse samples of materials
Perform visual site inspections and endorse the requests for inspections (RFI)
Review and endorse Subcontractor’s proposed corrective action to the Non Conformity
Review and endorse the As-built drawing
Review the red line marking drawings (pre As-Built drawings) every 3 months and issue a report
Participate in technical meetings when required by the Contractor /Engineer/ Employer;
Participate and monitor SAT (Site Acceptance Tests).
Review, inspect and endorse testing and commissioning works on site.
Review and endorse the final Taking Over package
General Requirements
a. The Supervision Engineer (SE) warrants that it and the SE Staff shall exercise the
professional level of skill, care and diligence that may be expected of an engineer
experienced in providing services similar to the services in relation to projects of a
similar size, scope and complexity in the performance of the services.
b. The SE will comply with any applicable decree, resolution, law, statute, act, ordinance,
rule, directive (to the extend having the force of law), order, final non-appealable
judgment directly applicable to the SE, treaty, code or regulation (including but not
limited to any of the foregoing relating to health and/or safety matters or any
environmental law) or any interpretation of the foregoing, as enacted, issued or
promulgated by any governmental instrumentality that is publicly available and
published or which the SE has or reasonably should have knowledge, including
amendments, modifications, extensions, replacements or re-enactments thereof and the
terms and conditions of this agreement.
c. The SE shall be responsible for all and any documents prepared by it or on its behalf in
connection with the services; and no approval, certification, payment and/or rejection
by the Employer & Main Contractor and/or on its behalf shall in any way limit in any way
SE’s obligations/liabilities.
d. The SE shall without any delay notify Main Contractor of any anticipated or actual
problems, issues or concerns involving the services and the project (in particular but not
limited to any which may affect the scope, cost or duration of the services) and shall
make prompt recommendations with respect thereto.
e. The SE staff shall be suitably qualified and experienced to perform the Services. The
Main Contractor’s approval of any SE staff shall not relieve the SE from any of his
responsibilities, obligations and/or liabilities under this agreement. During the term of
this Agreement it shall be at the Main Contractor’s sole discretion to require changes in
the SE staff assigned to provide services, if in the opinion of the Main Contractor such SE
staff are not performing their duties or the services in the best interest of the project.
f. The SE shall not replace any SE staff without the prior consent of the Subcontractor and
the Main Contractor.
g. All reports required to be produced by the SE as part of the services shall be addressed
to the Main Contractor with a copy of each report provided to the subcontractor.
Accommodation, Transport, Medical by client, 6 days per week and 10 hrs per day duty.
